INTERVIEW WITH HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS, EZE (ENGR) DANIEL ACHINIKE ENWEREUZOH (KSC) (Ohigide I of Ohii Umunwoha)

Hearts Magazine: Good evening your majesty, we are the members of the editorial crew of the Hearts Magazine.

May we know you please?

His Royal Highness: I am His Royal Highness Eze (Engr) Daniel Achinike Enwereuzoh (KSC) Ohigide I of Ohii Autonomous community. Umunwoha, Owerri West Local Government Area, Imo State.

Time of Coronation: I was made the king (Eze) on May, 2005. I was coronated and handed the staff of office by the governor.

Hearts Magazine: What is your view about our youth today?

His Royal Highness: Our youths today are planned to be more vibrant than youths of those days. This is because they are armed with education better than the other ones. They have the advantage of being exposed due to the use of electronic media, gadgets, etc. They appear to be more knowledgeable with better education than those of the past.

Hearts Magazine: How best can you relate the present life of our youths with the notion that they are the leaders of tomorrow?

His Royal Highness: It is very obvious that they are the ones to replace the leaders of today. The kind of education they have acquired and are exposed to, including the environment has prepared them towards that. I can say our youths of today are in a better place to take-over tomorrow than the youths of the past. They are well equipped to be the leaders of tomorrow.

Hearts Magazine: Considering the lifestyle of our youths do you think they have the competence to be leaders of tomorrow?

His Royal Highness: Yes, they may have one or two faults but at the same time it doesn’t make them not to be in-charge of leadership tomorrow.

Hearts Magazine: The negative aspect of their behaviour today?

His Royal Highness: The negative aspect of their behavior, unless when we now put it into consideration, the issue is that some of them are unfortunately exposed to this issue of hard-drugs. Those who are exposed to this, it won’t help them positively.
